of rice cultivation are closely related. However, nature may not always be
kind and there have been many instances in which the much awaited rains
do not arrive or when the soil fertility has fallen below productivity
levels. What should the farmers do when there is a drought? What happens
when the field is over cultivated that the harvests are dwindling?
